PE compatibilizer (900E) grafts several maleic anhydride molecules onto polyethylene chains by chemical reaction, so the product combines the good processability and other excellent properties of polyethylene with the reactivity and strong polarity of maleic anhydride; it has wide applications in plastics.

Product function

It improves the interfacial affinity between polyolefin substrates and inorganic materials such as metal powder, glass fibre, wood flour, mineral powder and starch, thereby reinforcing the composite. It is therefore often used as a compatibilizer for polyolefins, and can also act as a surface improver for extruded sheets and boards, effectively improving surface flatness and removing bumps and pinholes.
